Sure Spray, Inc. was established in 1947 by Ted and Art Leisenring. Art owned a large Denver laundry and dry cleaning business. Ted was an instructor at a local trade school. Art's business was selling large numbers of water spray guns. He was, however, dissatisfied with the quality and cost of the products that were available. Ted designed the original gun in 1947 and began production. That original gun was named the Little Giant Squeesee, and its spirit lives on in each of our products.

Today, laundry and dry cleaning equipment manufacturers like Alliance, American, Forenta, and Unipress purchase our guns for installation on their equipment.

In order to reduce the weight and cost of the gun, in 1952 it was redesigned with a plastic body. This is still, after more than 50 years, the same basic product sold today.

When Art and Ted retired in 1986 they sold the business to Robert and Irma Nelson. Since then we have added more products. We have also strived to maintain our low cost by manufacturing more of the spray gun components in house.
